The Computer Applications Department is known for its leadership, commitment for delivering high quality education.

To Achieve prominence by providing outstanding education to train our students for their productive career. We strive for excellence in covering the fundamentals as well as applied aspect of Computer Science and applications, cultivate proper attitude, communication skills and technical skills to compete themselves for any professional job

 

Department Information

This department was established in the year 2004. The Department offers a three-year full time M.C.A course. The curriculum is a perfect combination of theory and practical with equal importance given to both. The main objective of the department is to provide high quality man power and technical inputs to meet the requirement of software industries in both India and Abroad.

Dept Activities:
The department activities are organizing quiz programs, group discussions, soft-skill training programs, Arithematic and Aptitude training and mock interviews. The department is regularly conducting seminars, guest lectures, technical Symposiums on latest technologies. We have MCA Association - PROGNOSTICS - to develop technical and communication skills of the sudents by encouraging them to give paper presentations on various technical topics. We organize an undergraduates meet named CRESCENDO to test the technical and communication skills of the students.

Computer Lab:
The computer center is located in three floor circular building with centralized A/c and it is equipped with 575 P – IV systems with latest configuration and 3 servers. Browsing facility is provided to all the students. Each student is provided with an independent workstation.
